This Privacy Policy explains what information Calculator Hub ("we", "us") collects when you use smartcalc-tools.com (the "Site"), and how we use it.

Calculator inputs

All calculations run entirely in your web browser. The values you enter into our calculators, such as loan amounts, interest rates or currency amounts, are not sent to our servers, not stored, and not shared with anyone.

Information you send us

If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. We use this only to reply to you and improve the Site. Form submissions are processed and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, on our behalf. We do not sell or rent this information.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and fix problems. See Netlify's Privacy Policy for details.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the website that referred you, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), and your device and browser type. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We do not use Google Analytics to collect the values you enter into our calculators.

The information generated is transmitted to and stored by Google, which may process it on servers outside your country. You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings.

The Site does not currently show advertising. If we add advertising services in the future (for example Google AdSense), those providers may use cookies to serve and measure ads. We will update this policy before that happens and explain how you can opt out.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete any personal information you have sent us through the contact form. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have additional rights. To make a request, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
